Reverence for the inscrutable law of universe, respect for life and dignity of human beings, pursuance of knowledge and understanding, cultivation of arts and music and preparation of students to be ever ready for social action, are the upper most objectives of education in the school.

The youth shall be educated in the spirit of humanity, of democracy and freedom, of tolerance and respect for the convictions of others, for accountability and maintenance of Natural fundamentals of life, for love of the people and the country, promotion of the community of nations and peaceful conviction. The school provides a comprehensive model and ethical education, which shapes as a principle the teaching and the development of the school life.

The teaching of ethics occupies a central position. The participation of all students in all school forms in compulsory. The morning assembly, celebrations of festivals and the birth days of great Indians and free group work deepen the ethical and moral education beyond the regular formal teaching.

The aim of teaching work in the school is to inculcate scientific temperament. A scholar learns to understand facts in their relations, to acquire new facts independently, to arrange them critically and to comprehend them in their totality. The scholars are exposed to the problems and are encouraged to analyses and solve them. Efforts are made that the teacher apply modern methods of teaching and the teaching materials is of high standard. Along with mother tongue and English, Sanskrit also occupies very important place in the scheme of teaching in the school. Teaching of music, dance, sports, handicrafts, woodwork and electric-work, typewriting, computer science forms the part of regular activities in the school.

Social integration as well as self-help is the moto of work in the school. All the National festivals are celebrated in the school and the children of all communities participate in them. Scholars organize various activities themselves. Management of school activities is the responsibility of teachers and senior students.
