The Holy Child Past Pupils Association was formed to reach out to the poor and the needy with the mission to create value in the society. Since its inception , it has rendered yeomen service to the community . It has been the association's utmost priority to reach out to those who are in trouble and help many to relieve their tensions. Some of the significant activities are providing clothes to orphan houses like the Sishu griha , providing fans to the Sarathi, a house of the special children in Guwahati, providing clothes and essential commodities to underpriviledged children, helping Ashalaya by sponsoring a child, giving financial aid to a worker of the school towards building her house. The Association is also happy to report that it has sponsored a girl child of Nagaland to pursue higher studies. Apart from these, medicines and money were donated to the flood hit of Jorhat and riot-hit victim of the Kokrajhar. It has helped a sick child in Guwahati, financially to undergo treatment. It has been the endeavour of the association to felicitate the Salesian fraternity of NE. This was the first time this kind of gesture was undertaken by anyone to offer our thanks for the selfless and dedicated services of the Salesian Sisters in the N.E.
These are only some of the activities undertaken, but there are many lined up for the future. The Past Pupils Association hopes to continue with this work and be successful in the mission of creating values in the society.
